I'm cycling toward a world free of MS.  Click on my picture to Support my Ride!

Multiple sclerosis affects millions of people, including our loved ones, families, friends and co-workers. That's why I've registered again for Bike MS. The ride will take place on September 27 + 28.  I will ride just under 200 miles along with my UPENN team as each mile brings us closer to a world free of MS.

MY MS EXPERIENCE
This will be my 13th year riding in the MS City to Shore Bike ride and with the support of over 1440 donations from family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and even strangers from all different time periods of my life, I have raised $126,281.73  as of September 24, 2025 (7:00pm) and since I started back in 2013!!   I'm hoping to keep that number increasing as I ask you again to join me.

This year, I again ride for the people listed below that have had MS for years and others who have just been recently diagnosed.  I also ride in memory of several that were taken by MS at a way too early age!  So, here's to these 25 special people on my personal list.

1: Gary;  2: Stephanie;  3: Melody;  4: Hillary;  5: Big Vern;  6: Annette;  7: Ronda;  8: Andrea;  9: Andrew;  10: Beverly;  11: John;  12: Sophie;  13: Audrey;  14: Marsha;  15: Jennifer;  16: Sara, 17: Jesse, 18:  Marcie, 19:  Jacqueline,  20:  Helene,  21:  Samantha,  22:  Laura,   23: Lani,  24:  Janelle, 25:  Paul

I ride for them and all those that can't ride for themselves!

The situation of the 15,000 local people living with MS still remains: they still face a lifetime of challenges caused by a disease with no known cause or cure. Every dollar City to Shore is projected to raise will be earmarked to provide essential  services to help those affected by the disease live their best lives over the next year or the funds will go to fuel critical research aimed at finding better treatments for MS.

The ride is currently ranked 2nd in the United States for always achieving its goals. This ride isn't about tires, gears or bridges; ultimately, it's about the people living with multiple sclerosis who need our help more than ever.

I ride on the UPENN team with my friends Dr. Clyde Markowitz who is the Director Emeritus of the MS Center at UPENN Hospital in Philly and our friend Michael Lichtman. UPENN is the largest corporate team consisting of 158 riders in 2025. In 2023,UPENN won the Largest Corporate Team Award for the 15th year in a rowI am asking you to support me and Bike MS because this cause is meaningful to me. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling, disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Millions of people are affected by MS and the challenges of living with its unpredictable symptoms, which range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis. The progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS in any one person cannot yet be predicted, but advances in research and treatment are moving us closer to a world free of MS.

PLEASE SUPPORT ME!

Ending MS means no one will hear the words "You have MS" ever again. Every dollar counts! Please also see if your company offers a matching donation as I was able to raise so much more last year with the help of corporations support of their employees wanting to do the right thing. THANKS AGAIN!!

Together we can make a difference.
