I'm cycling toward a world free of multiple sclerosis.
Multiple sclerosis affects millions of people, including our loved ones, families, friends and co-workers. That's why I've registered again for Bike MS. This ride will took place on October 18 and replaced the CANCELED BikeMS City to Shore ride do to the Nor’easter that hit the Jersey Shore at the end of September. I rode 50 miles around the entire island of Manhattan and over the George Washington Bridge and headed North to Alpine NJ via the Palisades Park as each mile brings us closer to a world free of MS.
MY MS EXPERIENCE
This was my 14th year riding in the BikeMS event and with the support of over 2000 donations from family, friends, co-workers, neighbors and even strangers from all different time periods of my life, I have raised $153,004.75 as of November 4, 2026 and since I started back in 2013!! I'm hoping to keep that number increasing as I ask you to join me.
After the ride at Pier 76 in NYC.
This year, I again will ride for the people listed below that have had MS for years and others who have just been recently diagnosed. I also will ride in memory of several that were taken by MS at a way too early age! So, here's to these 27 special people on my personal list.
1: Gary; 2: Stephanie; 3: Melody; 4: Hillary; 5: Big Vern; 6: Annette; 7: Ronda; 8: Andrea; 9: Andrew; 10: Beverly; 11: John; 12: Sophie; 13: Audrey; 14: Marsha; 15: Jennifer; 16: Sara, 17: Jesse, 18: Marcie, 19: Jacqueline, 20: Helene, 21: Samantha, 22: Laura, 23: Lani, 24: Janelle, 25: Paul, 26: Sara G, 27: Sam
I ride for them and all those that can't ride for themselves!
The situation of the 15,000 local people living with MS still remains: they still face a lifetime of challenges caused by a disease with no known cause or cure. Every dollar BikeMS is projected to raise will be earmarked to provide essential services to help those affected by the disease live their best lives over the next year or the funds will go to fuel critical research aimed at finding better treatments for MS.
I'm currently ranked #1 on my UPENN team in fundraising with $21,410.92 for the 2026 ride and that number continues to go up everyday thanks to you!! I'm also currently ranked #8 out of 3608 registered riders!
